After a week of vacation I’m fully charged to start posting again. Le Requiem Des Kangourous is a very nice improvisation cassette recorded live in various places in Belgium. Ludo Engels has worked as an improvising musician, developing skills that he applied later to his artistic practice, which encompasses music, audio-visual installations, and photography. Guy De Bièvre is a composer, musician, arranger, sound designer, sound art curator, theorist, and sound engineer. As a composer/performer he focuses on experiments, which combine computer, live electronics, acoustics and standard arrangement formats. Lars Rudolph studied music as a trumpet player (mainly Jazz) and moved to New York in the late 80s to play with avantgarde musicians around the circle of John Zorn. Jan Blondeel now works for TV in Belgium, where he has his own cultural program ” Goudvis “. Le Requiem Des Kangourous was released on cassette by Sex On Sunday, Sport And Country (st 55) in 1986.
