Bogart grew up as Hubert Haverkamp in Emsdetten. There he began to play the drums at the age of six. In the early 80′s he was already a recognized experimental musician and live performer. From October 7th to November 19th Mac Whitney, a well-known American sculptor, had his first solo exhibition in Germany in the Kunsthaus am Moritzplatz, Berlin-West. The Sounds of this album were made on “Concan”, one of Mac Whitney’s stainless-steel sculptures. Sounds Of A Sculpture was released on vinyl as a box set with booklet by Bog-Art (BOG 103) in 19??.
