The Austrian group Allerseelen have been active and innovative in the industrial and apocalyptic folk genre for many years.Allerseelen is a unique combination of industrial and folkloristic elements, and “Industrial Folklore” might be an appropriate expression to embrace these seemingly contradictory qualities. On this tape, one of the early tapes from Allerseelen the music leans much more to a ritualistic ambient sound than the later “industrial folk sound”. An excellent companion for whatever you got planned for tonight. Requiem was released on tape by Sakristei in 1989, later re-released also on tape by Aorta in 1990.
