Here’s another one for tristan.koreya, the excellent Amor Fati first LP. Under the name of Amor Fati and/or Will To Live, Amaury Perez released a string of intensely personal cassettes and vinyl throughout the mid-80′s on his own Flesh Records and in collaboration with others. This is a nice discription of the album from Option Magazine: From the philosophical netherworld …Haunting, questioning, and powerful, the LP mixes primitive guitar, thunderous quasi- percussion and contorted vocals which are heavy with unspoken, subliminal feelings and ideas…conceptually more advanced (and more interesting) than many of its brethren that were recorded in large studios… Totaly D.I.Y. release, recorded at his parents basement on a 4-track. The album combines songs from the Body W/O Organs cassette with (in that time) unreleased material. Body W/O Organs was released on vinyl by Flesh Records (Flesh 015) in 1985.
