Arie Van Schutterhoef – Improvisaties En Stukken

arie van schutterhoef

Discovering electronic media at the end of the 1970’s, Dutch composer Arie van Schutterhoef (1957) started to explore the potential of the mutual relationships between text/sound/image. It has been his main pre-occupation to develop his ability to use this. Important was to understand how language works and from that point onwards the interest in sound came and the need to know how to apply it. Which resulted in a series of electronic and electro-acoustic compositions with or without acoustic instruments. These works were performed in several countries in Europe.Arie Van Schutterhoef died on the 7th of June, 2008. Read More →. Excellent electro-acoustic avantgarde tracks.
