Het Zweet (‘The Sweat’) was a Dutch experimental minimalist outfit, started as Forced Run in 1982, and at the end of 1983 changed to Het Zweet. They where among the founding members of Staaltape / Staalplaat in 1982, when it was located in Amsterdam, Holland. They where in close contact with Stanza ( drummer & visual artist of Bourbonese Qualk) and the Recloose Organisation. The Cover artwork was done by Stanza and is taken from the compilation video “The State Of Art”. Excellent minimal tribal with a hint at Test.Dept. Het Zweet was released on vinyl by Dossier ( ST 7539) in 1987.

There is nothing to be found about Het Zweet on the net, so this is what I know: Het Zweet were a early 80′s Dutch experimental band from Breda that made hypnotic, minimalist percussive ritual/tribal music. Additional info about Het Zweet is always appreciated. Zweepslag 1 + 2 was released on tape by Sound Of Pig Music (sop 49) in 1986.
