Could not find any info on John J. Lafia except that he is from the US, this album was written, performed & produced on 4-track by Lafia at home. A bit difficult to describe the music, a sort of minimal electronic rock with drum computer, synth, feedback and at the end of the cassette minimal ambient drones.  Prayers was released on cassette by Trance Port Tapes (trance 4) in 1984. Each copy numbered. Comes in a specially designed fold-out package with booklet.
