A Smile For Brandon

(Released on tape by Jazztone (j.t. 136) in 1990.)

Marcus: This is one of my favorite tape which inspire me to my own music very much (like most of the Cranioclast / Kallabris stuff). I like the Sound and the Home recording experiments. It’s music for autumn and rainy days, with a feeling of joy and strangeness.

Kallabris – Considération Sur / Sous Le Café

Consideration Sur / Sous Le Cafe

Kallabris belongs to those mythical groups emerging from the mid 80′s ‘industrial’ music. Kallabris come from the Cranioclast areas (who, even when a little bit more active, are likewise obscure), but operate within more acoustic music. Piano, accordion and voice play a role. Considération Sur / Sous Le Café was released on vinyl by Genesungswerk (GW 12) & Jazztone (j.t. 130) in 2001

Marcus said : this is a really wonderful record, by the cryptic kallabris project. Enjoy this with a coffee and cigarette, just a hint for making you’re coffee a bit more interesting: add a soupcon cardamom to each spoon of coffee powder.
