Mick Ness was a Dutch band led by Mick Witkamp. The group uses different names: Mick Ness, Ness & Mick, Mick Ness and His Issue First Issue. Ness plays guitar, sings and experiments with everything he can find. In February 1983 De Ark was released, in a cleaning cotton bag , with only one side of the record playable. Accompanied by the strong metal-percussion of Pieter Bannenberg  Mick builds experimental, noise-like sound collages. The songs have a largely Gregorian character. De Ark was released on vinyl by Eksakt Records (Eksakt 005) in 1983.
