Excellent split album by these two fairly obscure Japanese bands. Neon Knights can be described as a noise rock / post-punk band. Magick Lantern Cycle can be described as an experimental folk rock band influenced by Crowley. More info about the bands would be appreciated. On “Cities Of The Red Night” you can here the voice of David Tibet. “A Band Of Dwarves” is another version of the Current 93 song “Broken Birds Fly” or “Broken Birds”, which was original made by Current 93 and Magick Lantern Cycle in 1990, the same year as this release. Al-Kitab Alf Laylah Wa Laylah Vol. 1 -The Knight And The Wizard- was released on vinyl by Magin Records (MAGIN-333) in 1990. Comes in a envelope-rice paper shaped jacket, that houses an additional fold-out jacket and three inserts.
