Observers Observing Observables – EP

Observers Observing Observables

Observers Observing Observables consisted primarily of Dave Fulton and Brad Garton goofing around at Zounds Production recording studio (in Indianapolis !) , drafting various other individuals into our nefarious audio schemes. Mike Behnke wrote and performed many of the Observers Observing Observables lyrics. His brother David was the featured lyricist / performer on Expiration Date. Occasionally we would just grab a newspaper and read an article for the text (Shah Song). The title of the band came from the title of a poem Dave and Brad saw in Physics Today magazine, penned ostensibly by a rhapsodic physicist reflecting upon wood. Excellent minimal synth / post punk. I have recently found out that the track 5 not credited on the EP is called : The Shah Song (short version). You can download this EP and many bonus tracks (all at 160 kbps) HERE →. Observers Observing Observables was released as a 33rpm EP by 3-0 / Hardly Music Records (HM000003R) in 1980.
