Carne Del Disastro

Excellent compilation album of Italian experimental / ambient artists. Some famous names on this album like: Luciano Dari the founder of Musica Maxima Magnetica, the illustrious MGZ (one of the founding members of FAR), Sigillum S and Ain Soph. The only downside to the album is: there’s to much music on it so the grooves are very close together which results in a lesser audio quality of the tracks than on a regular album, but nonetheless it’s a great album. Carne Del Disastro was released on vinyl by Minus Habens Records ( MHR 003) in 1989.

The Negative Communication Age

Excellent international double compilation album released by the Italian magazine Ass. Cult. THX 1138 – Amen Prod. edited by Roberto Marchioro. Some very rare bands on this mainly Italian compilation like La Fura Dels Baus, Officine Schwartz, Teatrino Della Volpe and The Tapes among others. Ranging from noise to experimental to ambient. The Negative Communication Age was released as a 2x vinyl with a 80 paged booklet, 2 inserts, and a floppy disk (don’t ask me what’s on the floppy because I did not own a PC when I bought the album) by Amen – THX 1138 (THX 1138-6) in 1990.
