Tomografia Assiale Computerizzata – Ouvrez Vos Auditifs Canaux

Tomografia Assiale Computerizzata began as a one-man-band hiding the multi-instrumentist and sound engineer Simon Balestrazzi. His first LP under the name T.A.C. came out in 1983 (or maybe in 1982) and can be found on Mutant Sounds. On this there second album T.A.C. has grown to a six headed band, featuring a very peculiar sound interbreeding such diverse styles as no-wave, electronic experimentation, progressive rock, radical improvisation and post-punk, deconstructed pieces with everchanging rhythms and meters. Then come the electronic incursions of polluted radio frequencies and background buzzes, which give the music an eerie, dismantled feeling. Ouvrez Vos Auditifs Canaux was released on vinyl by Azteco Records (AZTECO A-002) in 1985. In 1995 remastered on cd by Discordia (DISC 071 CD) with extra tracks from various compilations.

Nice compilation album with Italian bands. Maze 1066: are a duo by the name of Paolo Chang and Alessandro Achilli, on this album they play improv with a little jazzy touch. Anyone any more info? Tasaday: experimental / noise/tribal/postrock/industrial music band, located in Brianza, Italy. Active since 1982 and formed from two bands named Die Form & Orgasmo Negato, (changed in Die Form & Nulla Iperreale in 1983) the band chose the definitive name Tasaday in 1984. Read More →.
