Der Westen Ist Einsam

As requested by Jörg of Not Rock On. Der Westen Ist Einsam was released in 1982 on Mercury (Germany) (6435 155) and re-released in 1990 on cd by Phonogram GmbH (846 025-2). The sound is punk orientated, with experimental and avant-garde elements. Not so raw as Amok Koma but still a highly recommended album. Bass – Marc Chung, drums – Axel Dill , guitar and vocals – Frank Z , keyboards and percussion – F.M. Einheit (vocals on track 7 & 9).

A Chud Convention – Sorrow

A Chud Convention was a collaboration between cEvin Key & Nivek Ogre of Skinny Puppy, and S3 Evets & J3 Seuqcaj of á;Grumh , seems to be made while taking a break on their 1986 European tour. Side a is 12 minutes of throat music: growling , coughing , hissing , laboured breathing , whispers and vocal samples all processed with a variety of effects and layered into an extremely atmospheric piece of abstract music. Side b, 13 minutes, is a slower, more ambient, but if anything more ominous track. Sorrow came out on Circle Records ( Circle 003) in 1987. Circle Records was run by the members of á;Grumh to let artists develope “side projects”, ambient, experimental, industrial. More of Circle Records at a later date.
